UnoTelly Review: Watch Netflix, Hulu, BBC iPlayer, Lovefilm And More Blocked Channels In India

Internet was discovered at 1950 and introduced to the public at 1982. The major reason the Internet was invented is to connect people and break boundaries. Unfortunately this is not true when it comes to content streaming. US and UK residents are in the great side of entertainment. They can have access to Netflix, Hulu, Pandora and Spotify in US and BBC iPlayer, Lovefilm and Tvcatchup in UK and many more channels. Unfortunately, when it comes to India, things are different. I will tell you only few of what we lose. The new season of Doctor Who, Formula 1 live on HD, major sport happenings like the Olympic Games and all the hot movies and series available on Netflix and Hulu. Furthermore have you ever checked the movies collection of Lovefilm.com? They have more than 5.000 movies available to stream, not for India of course.

Few weeks ago, I received an e-mail from a service called UnoTelly. The guys at UnoTelly claimed that with their service, users can bypass geo-block and watch more than 70 channels worldwide. They provided me a Gold account and they asked me to test their service and give a review. The last two weeks I have made various tests to UnoTelly and I loved this service. Keep reading to learn everything you need to unblock the world!

What is UnoTelly?

UnoTelly or UnoDNS is a DNS based system. What it simply does is that it tricks major content libraries like Netflix into thinking that you are streaming the content from next door. Unlike VPN solutions, UnoTelly is very fast because there is no “middle-man” between you and the website you want to stream. That makes it an ideal – for streaming service. Furthermore, UnoTelly can be used on every device supports DNS tweaks (videogame consoles, tablets, iPads and more) in contrast of the majority of VPNs which can be used only on PC.

Supported Devices:
As I told you before, UnoTelly can be used on every device supports DNS tweaks. Here is a taste of the supported devices: PC, Mac, PS3, XBOX360, iPhone, iPad, androids, playbook, WD TV Live, Roku, Boxee box, XBMC, Apple TV and Smart TVs. Of course, you can set it up to your router and have UnoTelly to all the devices connected in your network.

Supported Channels:
Here is the catch! UnoTelly supports more than 70 blocked channels worldwide. Few of them are Netflix(all regions), Hulu+, Amazon, Pandora, Spotify, BBC iPlayer, Disney channel, History channel, Lovefilm, Tvcatchup, Channel 4 oD and Zattoo (all regions). You can find the supported channels here. Despites that, UnoTelly will let you choose between regions. For example, if you have a Netflix subscription you will be able to watch US, UK , Brazilian, Irish, Canadian , Mexican and Swedish Netflix with the same account.

Installation:
Thanks to the step-by-step tutorials, installation of UnoTelly is a pain-free process. All you have to do is a simple DNS tweak. It maybe sounds hard, but it can be performed even by a rookie at technology. For windows, they have created an easy-to-set up application that will do all the setup process for you.

Paid Services:
UnoTelly provides to its customers 2 paid Programs. The Premium ($4.95/month) and the Gold (7.95$/month). The difference between those 2 programs is that the Gold one provides VPN connection too along with the normal DNS service. The Gold program is ideal for users who want to use UnoTelly on public, hotel and 3G/4G networks. Furthermore, if a user purchase an annual subscription UnoTelly provides discount and the prices are $3.99/month for the premium and $4.99/month for the Gold program. Lastly, for anyone who wants to try UnoTelly, they offer an 8-day free trial of the Gold program. You can take the free trial here.

Conclusion:
Is it worth it? Absolutely! While streaming, content loads quickly and you will not have lag problems. Set up process was a 5 minute job thanks to the step by step tutorials. You can easily turn it on and off when you need it. So, for those who are searching for an inexpensive way to unlock the global entertainment, I highly recommend UnoTelly.

I’m a bit hesitant to chagne the DNS on my router. Won’t this slow down performance on my wireless network? Is there some way to add these DNS settings as a second option so that I can toggle between the unotelly DNS and my main local DNS?
